Small Ordinary Gods
Tommer Peterson, 2022
This play is an exploration into the experience of endings and loss – lives, relationships, cycles, internal journeys. It is a slow fuse igniting the culture of buried emotional truth. This is a collection of stories, dreams, poems, lists, and regrets. And, there’s a talking bird.l

The Space Between
Tommer Peterson, 2021
This play is a meditation and inquiry into the non-existent space in time between one moment and the next. It explores “negative space,” the shape and nature of the emptiness between bodies on the human canvas. What is the space between an experience and our memory of the same? To what extent is memory a recording of the past events or a reconstruction informed by our own attachments? What of the space between you and I? How is it shaped by what we hold to be true, and what maps the borders when our beliefs diverge?

No One on Board Took Notice
Tommer Peterson, 2016
This story is a snapshot of a people and a culture in transition. It is told through the eyes of an elder woman, the first of her people to question long-held beliefs, and a young man discovering that he is perhaps the first of a new evolutionary line. Is the notion of the passing of time as fixed and linear as it seems, or is it possibly more fluid for some than others?
